Everything. If they are willing to help us out, (because im sure they are having a ball watch us slowly destroy ourselves) we could advance in technology by a BILLION x BILLION.

How do we know they haven’t found anything yet? Do you think the government would supress that information like they have been suspected of doing with UFO’s?

No. Half of us would want to blow them up, half of us would want to learn all we could from them, and half of us would want to learn better math skills.
Question: Why does SETI seek radio signals when advanced civilizations would surely not use them to communicate?
Truly advanced civilizations would have unravelled the mysteries of quantum physics and communicate over that medium, not using primitive radio signals. The chances that we would happen to catch another civilization which happens to be in the few hundred years of their evolution where they are using radio signals are very slim indeed.
No wonder we hear nothing. If we had a device however that could hear transmissions over the quantum medium, we would likely hear endless chatter and be able to watch alien TV shows.

When I refer to communicating through the quantum media, i am referring to the ability of quantum particles to experience entanglements and strange interactions where a quantum particle here may affect a quantum particle a million miles away as if they are adjacent. In this way, quantum particles can interact outside of our physical universe – as if interconnected by impossibly small wormholes.
If one could master this in a communication device, one could allow communications over vast distances instantaneously instead of limited by the speed of light through the physical medium of space.
A civiliation 3 million light years away could communicate with us instantaneously, in real time rather than taking 3 million years for the signal to reach us.
To them, communicating via radio waves would seem as practical as taking a covered wagon to California.
Truly advanced civilizations would most likely NOT be completely biological. They would be (hate to say it), “Borg-like” – a combination of robotics and biologic material.
As robotics become more pervasive and attain consciousness (within 50 years), in order to compete, biologic humans will have to take the best of these robotic abilities, probably using nano-technology, to compete.
It is quite possible that “humans” of 1 million years hence will have quantum-based nanotic computers within their brains that would allow them to communicate through the quantum media using only “telepathy” and no outward devices.

Well, let’s try these on for size….
What if this advanced civilization wasn’t so advanced? What if they lived far away when they weren’t so advanced? Wouldn’t it take centuries for their primitive signals to arrive here? Oh, here’s another one. What if they wanted to play with us and brought out their old Marconi sets and keyed in a few dits and dahs just to tease us a little?
Those are my thoughts.

I’m looking to get a 46″ or 52″ sony bravia lcd or a 60″ dlp mitsubishi that is 3-D ready I had a 51″ sony wide screen but it played out I need help I don’t know much about HD and TV’s any help is very helpful

it is mostly a matter of personal preference you are certainly sitting far enough away for the larger screens If you go DLP I would look at the 72 inch the cost is not much different

Try making a craigslist ad offering something really crazy like a ps3 and put that email and tell them to put that in the subject line so you know what they want

to focus on finding disturbances caused by civilizations engaging in faster than light travel? Then as more and more (possibly) are pinpointed, a location, or locations would begin to emerge as the source of such phenomena.

There is no such thing as “faster than light travel.” How do you suggest looking for “disturbances” due to fictional plot devices?

“And I’m Max.” He said, bowing in front of me. “What’s your name?”
“Molly.” I said, slightly taken aback by his kind tone. He looked behind me to Private Hall.
“Good morning Anya, you are looking extra beautiful today.” He smiled.
“Oh come off it.” Private Hall giggled.
One last door opened and a boy my age was escorted out. He had shaggy golden brown hair that fell into his eyes, his bold eyes. From ten feet away I could count the shades of blue. His sleeves were torn revealing his perfectly sculpted arms.
“Hey, who’s this?” He walked up to me and Hadrian.
“I’m Molly.” I smiled politely. He examined me, I felt slightly awkward and decided to walk toward the food bar. Hadrian came with me. Max was still attempting to flirt with Private Hall.
“That’s Kane Foley by the way.” Hadrian said as we got to the counter. I grabbed a plate and decided what I wanted. I went with the bacon substitute and the eggs that looked like they were made from powder.
“What are you in for new girl?” Bernadette asked as I sat at the table.
“I…uh…uh.” I answered. Max sat down to join us after Private Hall threatened him if he didn’t leave.
“Ugh, another one.” Bernadette said, rolling her eyes. “I am so tired of explaining this to people.”
“She is just bitter because she has been here longest.” said Hadrian, stuffing his mouth with the hydrated eggs.
“Shut it, Sparky!” Bernadette snapped.
“Molly, have you ever been able to do things, you shouldn’t have been able to do?” Max cut in, despite the two bickering in the background. I stayed silent, eyes wide. My thoughts went straight to that day.
“We all have, and that is why we are all here.” Max went on, obviously sensing my fear.
“Well, one day something happened. I produced some kind of storm out of no where.” I admitted. “I passed out and woke up here.”
“Scouts.” Kane said.
“What?” I asked. By now I felt like a complete dunce.
“They have them everywhere. Searching for people like us. Freaks.” he replied.
“Who is they?” I questioned.
“The government.” He whispered. I laughed. Oh gosh, another wacko hippie. No one else laughed.
“Your serious?” I asked. Everyone nodded.
“So what is this? Where are we? What does that make you? What does that make me?”
“This is a prison, the government thought people like us were to dangerous to be out in the world.” Hadrian said.
“No one knows where the hell we are, probably south of nowhere and north of Area 51.” Bernadette added.
“We are freaks. We each have some sort of super natural capability.” Kane said.
“And you are officially one of us.” Max concluded.

It’s a little cliche. The story of the magical/scientifically magical freaks being suppressed in a clandestine area is a little overused.

What would be a better processor for gamming a Intel Pentium 4 , 478 pin at 2.6Ghz 800mhz and hyper threading or a AMD 64 3200+ 969 pin at 2.0Ghz. Thanks

the intel processor would be better becuase it is faster than teh AMD processor. however the AMD has more pin, but i would go for the intel becuase it is more importnat that it runs smoother.
Question: If I join the AF would I be able to…….?
I made up my mind about the Marines but if I join the AF would I be able to be assigned to “Area 51″??? What are the chances??? I would just like to see whats inside but of course the gov’t does not know that, lol my SAT is 2100 and I finished Highschool 2 years earlier, I might be qualified to become an AF officer, If I join would I be able to see “Aliens”

no
