Skytrackers` Automatic Vehicle Location System (AVL) is an advanced data communications system with a centralized map displaying and updating the real time location of a fleet of vehicles. The system has become a key element for the tracking and security of vehicles. The AVL system is based on the GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) system, and has the ability to identify a geographical area and automatically display the units in closest proximity, thus improving response time. Basically, AVL is used to track and locate vehicles and any other means of transportation, whether in motion or stationary. Skytrackers` AVL hardware and software have been tested and refined in dozens of installations around the world during the last three years.

Skytrackers` main products include the GPS based AVL hardware unit, a fleet tracking stand-alone software, a centralized Command Center, and Emergency Response Program, and Roadside Assistance. The company supplies two main markets including: 1) Government and Security  products for police, medical emergency, fire fighting and military forces; 2)  commercial products for service fleets such as courier, trucking  and container companies.
